Sean Schmidt is our fearless leader. A former rower turned pentathlete...or so he thinks. Sean competed in several US and Canadian pentathlon competitions in the early 2000s and plans to start competing in Masters pentathlon soon. Sean also paddles Hawaiian outrigger and his newest athletic endeavor also has some cultural flair, he has been doing Schuhplattler (Bavarian folk dancing) since 2010. Sean works at the University of Washington in Seattle.
